We will never ask you to provide your personal details in an email (without you having contacted us first). This is to protect you from common email scams. For example, we are aware of unauthorised online promotions in which members of the public receive an email requesting them to register their mobile phone number in an attempt to win a ‘Woolworths WISH Gift Card’. If the mobile phone number is then registered, the victims have funds deducted from their phone account.
Woolworths has no connection with any such scheme and we will never pass on your personal details to a third party for marketing purposes. We have drawn this scheme to the attention of the ACCC. Please be alert and aware of who you are providing your personal details to.
