Closure of Everyday Mobile

Woolworths will be closing the Woolworths Everyday Mobile service at the end of first quarter 2012.

We recognised that an increasing number of customers are now looking to use the internet on their mobiles with a 3G service so we have decided to introduce Woolworths Mobile to meet this customer demand. Customers who may have been thinking about upgrading their 2G phone service to a 3G phone service can do so at their local Woolworths store at a great low price.

Details of Closure

Purchase of Recharge: Your last opportunity to purchase recharge by via the handset and in stores will be the 30th of October, 2011. Recharge via credit card over the web will not be available from the 29th of October, 2011.

Loading Recharge Vouchers: If you have purchased a recharge voucher before the 30th of October , 2011 you will have up to the 30th of November to apply or load your credit to your Everyday Mobile Service.

Expiry: Recharge vouchers applied or loaded to your service before the 30th of November will last for the normal credit period based on the plan you are on (“Simple” or “Chatterbox”). For example, if you are on the “Simple Plan” and loaded a recharge voucher to your Everyday Mobile Service on the 29th of November, you will have 100 days from that date to use all your remaining credit on your service, including previously accumulated credit.

Remaining Credit: If there is any remaining credit on your service when the expiry timer lapses, this credit will be lost.

As detailed above, Everyday Mobile will give customers a full expiry period for any and all recharge applied before the 30th of November. The service will not close until after the final recharge period expires 100 days from the 30th of November for “Simple Plan” customers and 30 days from the 30th of November for “Chatterbox Plan” customers.

The Woolworths Mobile Pre-paid Cap brings customers improved features including a 3G service packed with talk, text and data. Registered Everyday Rewards members can also receive 10 per cent off every recharge purchase.
